LIGHTHOUSE3.JPG - New Point Comfort Lighthouse, put into service in 1805 or 1806, photographed when it still had a tenuous connection to the Mathews County mainland. Once there were a two-story keeper's house, barn and other outbuildings near the lighthouse. Now it is surrounded by water and riprap. Undated photo, no credit.
